The McGee’s Middle FFA spent an exciting day in Raleigh visiting the Southern Farm Show and North Carolina State University. Students were exposed to a variety of agricultural businesses and current industry technology while touring the exhibits at the farm show. The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, or CALS at North Carolina State University introduced students to current university policies and provided an early look at college experiences. The MXM FFA received an informative presentation and a tour of campus during their visit. FFA members were also given the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session hosted by CALS Ambassadors. For more information, contact Mary Hunter Olive, McGee’s Middle FFA Chapter Advisor at 919-894-6003.
