The West Johnston High School ROTC program was awarded $7,000 from Deacon Jones Chevrolet in Smithfield as part of their “Drive for Perfection” program.

JROTC earned money for every person who test drove a car during the May event held on the West Johnston campus. More than 100 people attended, which was organized by Christina Jones, Deacon Jones Customer Relations, and JROTC Teachers Cornell Harris and Colonel Warren Singleton, as well as, Assistant Principal Jule Vines.
